DirtWork Alert: Permian Basin Pre-Drill Activity Detections Down 29% in July

July 2021 data shows 406 observations of oilfield-related pre-drill dirt work movements in the Permian Basin, according to Sourcewater DirtWork Alert. That is down 29% (-170) vs June 2021 activity of 576.

Many of these new observed activities are in progress before a permit has been filed.
